In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery, without providing any reason. However, given the collectible and speculative nature of TCG products (Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, One Piece), the right of withdrawal applies exclusively to factory-sealed products that have not been opened, tampered with, or had their original shrink-wrap removed or altered. This right of withdrawal applies only to in-stock products purchased for immediate dispatch and does NOT apply to Pre-Order purchases (see the Pre-Order Policy).
The right of withdrawal is explicitly excluded in the following circumstances, pursuant to Art. 16(c) and 16(b) of Directive 2011/83/EU:
- Products whose value depends on fluctuations in the financial market which the seller cannot control (card prices, set rarity, secondary market values).
- Products that are sealed and not suitable for return for reasons of protection once opened after delivery.
- Pre-Order purchases. Payment for a pre-order authorises GoldenCollector to immediately place a firm order for that item with the supplier; pre-orders are therefore non-refundable and excluded from the right of withdrawal, in accordance with the Pre-Order Policy and Art. 16(b) above.
Returns are not accepted in the following cases:
- Booster boxes, packs, decks or cases that have been opened or had their original seal removed.
- Single cards or products showing signs of use, handling, or damage not present at the time of dispatch.
- Products returned in insufficient packaging that caused damage during the return journey.
- Returns requested due to change of mind, card pulls/contents, or post-purchase price movements.
If an item arrives at our warehouse opened, visibly used, or damaged beyond its original packaging, the return will be refused and the product will be shipped back to the sender at their expense, with no refund issued. The buyer remains responsible for the diminished value of goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning (Art. 14(2) Directive 2011/83/EU).
